Adelaide Alumni Dinner

July 2, 2022 News

The Foundation hosted a dinner for early-career Alumni working (or who had completed projects) in Adelaide, to coincide with the Australian Society of Otolaryngology Head And Neck Surgery’s (ASOHNS) Annual Scientific Meeting (10-12 June 2022).

Held at APOTECA Bar & Restaurant, Trustee Dr. Michael Jay, Board Members Professor Robert Black and A/Prof. Stella Clark, plus Alumni & Communications Manager Kyla Hall were delighted to meet and chat with:

This was an opportunity to connect with Alumni still early in their research careers to discuss their professional pathways, expectations, challenges and what’s next for Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery (OHNS) in general. Alumni were asked for candid views on their Award process, and were able to learn more about the expertise of Board Members and the Foundation as a whole. Such interactions are vital for the Foundation to continue improving its support of OHNS research in Australia and New Zealand.

The Foundation hope to make this an annual event to meet with Alumni who are early in their OHNS research careers.
