2021 Robert Guerin Research Prize

Dr Giri Krishnan is the winner of the 2021 Robert Guerin Research Prize.

Established in partnership with the Australian Society of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery (ASOHNS), the prize recognises outstanding research undertaken by a surgical trainee in Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery. It is presented each year at the Robert Guerin Memorial Trainees meeting.

Presenting the prize at this year’s hybrid event, were Board Chair Dr Michael Jay in Adelaide, and Foundation Chair Professor William Coman at the Trainees Hub in Brisbane.

Giri’s winning paperĀ Metastatic lymph node mapping with IV Panitumumab-IRDye800CW, was published in multidisciplinary journal Theranostics.

The prize includes:

  • A Certificate
  • Free registration to the next Frontiers conference
  • Invitation to speak at the next Frontiers conference
