Clinical Research Grant
Now accepting applications for FY2020
To support Otolaryngologists, Head and Neck Surgeons and accredited surgical trainees in OHNS in building research capability and undertaking research projects with relevance to clinical application, through the provision of funding towards the employment of a part-time research assistant, research nurse or graduate student.
Term of award
Up to two (2) years.
Eligibility criteria are specified in the Terms and Conditions of Award. These will be available when the application round opens.
The level of support will be up to AUD 50,000 per annum, all inclusive. The Grant must be administered through an Australian or New Zealand institution. Additional eligibility criteria for the Administering Institution and use of funding are listed in the Terms and Conditions of Award.
How to apply
Applications are open during August and September, with outcomes being communicated in December. Applications must be submitted online via the GPRWMF Application Portal, which can be accessed through this website. Please note that this Award may not be offered every year. Awards on offer will be announced on the GPRWMF website during June and July.

- Project details, including Research Plan
- Budget (template provided)
- Details of all research funding received over the past ten years, in addition to applications pending or to be submitted within the year for the Chief Investigator

Applications open annually between early July and late August, with outcomes being announced in December.
