2018 Garnett Passe Memorial Lecture

We are delighted to announce that Professor Raymond Sacks will present the 2018 Garnett Passe Memorial Lecture on Friday 4th May at the Royal Society of Medicine (London, UK).

Professor Sacks will be presenting his talk on “Training our Otolaryngologists: Achievements, Deficiencies and Strategies“, discussing the various issues facing doctors-in-training, and outlining strategies to resolve and prevent these issues.

With a special interest in endoscopic management of benign nasal tumours and chronic sinus disease, Professor Sacks’ current research includes sleep disordered breathings; investigating surgical options for turbinate reduction in the treatment of chronic allergic rhinitis; and he has a special interest in the treatment of nasolacrimal duct obstruction.

The Garnett Passe Memorial Lecture is a keynote address, presented by a leader in the field to the Royal Society of Medicine in London, UK. Launched in 1996, the lectures have become an important part of the GPRWMF’s educational and engagement program.
