Professor Peter-John Wormald
PJ is the Chairman of the University of Adelaide’s Department of Otolaryngology since 1998 and Professor of Skull Base Surgery since 2014. He leads a high-profile clinical department and large research group focusing on the pathogenesis of Chronic Rhinosinusitis (CRS), wound healing and on endoscopically managing large vessel vascular injury. He is considered to be one of the world’s foremost innovators in endoscopic sinus surgery (ESS) and skull base surgery. His research and technical abilities have led to a paradigm shift in the way CRS is treated with a new emphasis on endoscopic techniques.
