Dr. Anu Sabu

Dr. Anu Sabu

Dr Anu Sabu was awarded a Bachelor of Technology in Applied Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering from Mahatma Gandhi University (Kerala, India) in 2015 and a Master of Engineering (Biomedical) from the University of Melbourne in 2018. Anu completed her PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the Swinburne University of Technology in 2023. Anu carried out her research at the Biomedical Manufacturing unit of the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization from 2019 to 2023 where she developed three-dimensional in-vitro cell cultures using neuronal cell lines for screening biomaterials in lab-based settings. Anu is currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Bionics Institute where she works on improving hearing outcomes for people with hearing loss and those with cochlear implants.
