Kyla Hall Alumni & Communications Manager

Kyla joined the Foundation in 2017 and is responsible for the Alumni and Communications portfolio. This includes managing the Foundation’s online, print, and event communications – including for the Frontiers in OHNS biennial conference – seeking ways to amplify Alumni achievements, and ensuring Foundation-funded activities are communicated clearly to target audiences. This, along with the oversight of the Awardee database, enables her to analyse Foundation activities and assist the Board in determining future directions of the Foundation that best suit the evolving needs of the OHNS community.

Holding a Diploma in Graphic Design from RMIT, Kyla has successfully run her own freelance business since 2012, working with a broad range of clients including Australian universities, state-funded educational initiatives and not-for-profit organisations. Kyla took maternity leave in October 2022 until May 2023.

Kyla is the first point of contact for Awardees and Alumni wishing to share news on their research and careers.
