This June, Foundation Board Directors Dr. Michael Jay and Professor Robert Black were both surprised and honoured to be presented with certificates in recognition of their service as past Presidents of the Australasian Society of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery (ASOHNS).
ASOHNS is the representative organisation for Ear Nose and Throat (ENT), Head and Neck Surgeons in Australia. The Foundation works alongside ASOHNS to encourage surgeons and surgical trainees to undertake valuable research in the specialty (see the Academic Surgeon-Scientist Research Scholarship and Robert Guerin Research Prize).
The certificates were presented during the ASOHNS Annual Scientific Meeting, held in Adelaide, South Australia.
