A/Prof. Michael Elliott

A/Prof Michael Elliott is a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Sydney, engaged in clinical and translational research with academic institutions and the Chris O’Brien Lifehouse Cancer Centre. He mentors Fellows, Advanced ENT registrars, junior medical staff, and medical students. After completing Advanced Training in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery in Sydney in 2008, Michael pursued a Head and Neck Fellowship at Guy’s Hospital in London, one of the United Kingdom’s largest Head and Neck Units. Following this, he was appointed as a Visiting Medical Officer at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney.

His work on the tumour microenvironment has uncovered critical cellular interactions that enhance responses to immunotherapy, supporting the development of personalised treatments. Michael now works with the Sydney Head and Neck Cancer Institute, based at Lifehouse, The Chris O’Brien Cancer Centre, providing specialized care in complex cases.
